YOUTH（ユース）

YOUTH is a contemporary café and dining spot occupying the street-level space of the M Terrace Jingumae building, right in the thick of Harajuku's vibrant dining scene. The venue blends a relaxed coffee-shop vibe with a more ambitious food menu, making it equally suited to a quick lunch or a lingering evening meal with friends. The kitchen turns out a globally influenced menu that shifts with the seasons, leaning towards bold flavours and photogenic presentation that sits comfortably with the neighbourhood's aesthetic-conscious crowd. Drinks range from speciality coffee and craft teas to a curated selection of natural wines and cocktails, with the evening atmosphere feeling distinctly more bar-like than the laid-back daytime mood. Seating is limited and the place gets busy, particularly at weekends when queues can form during brunch hours. Reservations are accepted for dinner but tend to be walk-in only at lunch, so arriving on the early side is a sensible strategy. The ground-floor corner location offers good people-watching through the large windows, which is very much part of the appeal.
