Little Bear Meister at Go Harajuku

A charming doughnut shop famed for its adorable teddy bear-shaped creations, now with a branch in Harajuku's Jingumae district.

Little Bear Meister is a specialist doughnut shop beloved for its signature teddy bear-shaped doughnuts, which look almost too cute to eat. The brand began as a food truck in Shimokitazawa in 2019 before opening its first permanent cafe in Kagurazaka, and has since expanded to this Harajuku location in the Jingumae district.

The star of the menu is the Nut Bear, made with whole wheat flour and almonds for a pleasantly chewy texture and nutty fragrance. Other popular options include the kinako (roasted soybean flour) doughnut and seasonal varieties filled with chocolate or nuts. For dine-in customers, the Little Bear Plate is a must, featuring a bear doughnut resting on a marshmallow pillow alongside fresh cream, making for an irresistible photo opportunity as well as a delicious treat.

The Harajuku branch is located at 1-11-6 Jingumae, within easy reach of both JR Harajuku Station and Meiji-jingumae Station. Doughnuts are fried to order, so expect a short wait during busy periods, but the warm, freshly made result is well worth it.
