About This Event / イベントについて
DESIGNART TOKYO 2026 runs 30 October to 8 November. Official site: designart.jp. Tenth edition. Theme Hibiki. The festival spreads across several wards. For this guide the useful rooms are the ones you can walk from JR Harajuku, Meiji-jingumae, or Omotesando Station: galleries and shops on Omotesando, Jingumae, and the Harajuku blocks.
Typical hours in past editions sat around 11:00–20:00. Each venue sets its own clock and price. Most are free. A few exhibitions charge. The official map is the only list that stays current through the ten days. Do not treat Ginza or Roppongi as a Harajuku errand.
The same week holds Meiji Jingu’s autumn rites and Yoyogi jazz on 3 November. DESIGNART is indoor. The shrine forest closes at sunset. Plan the walk, do not assume one ticket covers both.
